1) Keystone pipeline has NEVER been about energy independence. For fucks sake it's not even American oil and it's owned by the Canadian company "TransCanada". It's fucking Canadian oil. Why do you think they are pipelining it to the gulf coast? Umm hello because they are shipping it across our country to ship it over seas to refine and sell on the open market not in the US..
