First of, reporting that a ref agreed with an anti-american remark made by a player!?? HOw can the kid know that if they were speaking french....!???

AS for the Islander game... around 300 people booed.... So what... 300 people are pro peace and mad at the american!??

As for the following game... the montreal crowed cheered during the american anthem... and was booed in Florida... (no one answered my thread by the way.. strange?)

i'm from Alberta, about as far away politically as you can get from Quebec in Canada. on top of that, I don't speak any French at all.

i was in QB for three weeks in February, and had an absolute blast (both Montreal and QB City). also, being in the snowboard culture, i've met many QB's over the years - some of the most interesting and fun people (in general) that i've ever had the fortune of hanging out with.

their hockey team sucks though ;)
