i'm from Alberta, about as far away politically as you can get from Quebec in Canada. on top of that, I don't speak any French at all.
i was in QB for three weeks in February, and had an absolute blast (both Montreal and QB City). also, being in the snowboard culture, i've met many QB's over the years - some of the most interesting and fun people (in general) that i've ever had the fortune of hanging out with.
their hockey team sucks though ;)
