Is it possible to cash out the funds without paying ATM fees? I think employees would dig this more if they could get their cash without paying outrageous ATM fees in some areas it's like $2-3 -- every time you want money that could suck for employees...

January 16th isn't very long ago. What references does the company have ?

Who is Chad Davis ?

CommerceCarib sounds like an offshore entity. Is this a legitimate well-known banking setup or one of those "own your own bank for $50k" ?

Maybe he's saying that's how much it costs a typical company to do payroll per check... ? How did he come up with those numbers?

Also, yes DarkJedi made a good point -- how do we trust you with all this money?

When will the affiliate program be ready and what information is required from the buyer of this? What is to prevent someone from just giving you bogus information to make $20/signup...? It seems like this is targeted to replace existing payroll systems... if that is the case at the very least you should have a demo and screenshots of how easy it is to pay your employees... You will have a hard time selling this to someone -- really what employer wants to stop using checks? Last I checked, checks are really cheap to use...???

lets see we have a company printing all the cards for us so dont worry about that but thanks for the concern.

and yes you can put monies on the card from anywhere in the world via Checking acct, western union any STAR, CIRRUS, participating branch. You employer can pay your salary on it. Take the money out at atm's , or anywhere you can use a reg CC

Afflitate programs can load a batch file to their bank and have the ach system transefer the monies directly to the webmasters CC with THEIR name on it
=)))

The funds are available IMMEDIATELY

Dont' avoid the real questions.

Who are the banks ?
Who is Chad Davis ?
What is CommerceCarib ?
Is this an offshore banking operation ?

What kind of banking references does he have ?

How is this different than any other prepaid card or internet card affiliate program ?

Last year I hired an AU designer to make a logo for one of my mainstream sites. He didn't have PayPal at the time, so I had to wire the money to him.
My corporation's bank is Bank of America, so naturally I went there to do the transfer - the fee was $45 from US to AU and that didn't guarantee it would go through. If there were any problems and it was returned for any reason, it would cost me another $45 to attempt to send the money again.

So in MY experience, the wire transfer fee he's quoting is right on the money.

So in MY experience, the wire transfer fee he's quoting is right on the money.
In US Fleet Bank they told me wire would cost around $25. I have never sent wires from there, though. I do send them from offshore bank account. The charge is 0.2% with a minimum of 20 and maximum of 100. It's into anywhere over the world. Usually takes 4-5 business days. There is also a possibility of urgent transfers withing one day (they cost more). One of my former partners sent me money from some Netherland bank. He told that for him the charge was just $7.50 disregarding to which bank he was sending. From the other hand, I've heard of US and European banks that charge $60 for a wire.

So basically the prices depend on the bank.

I think I'll take a closer look on this http://www.preferpay.com/gmt.htm
It sounds expencive, but if it provides all functionality that is needed, that can be the only alternative to PayPal. It's impossible to predict, though, how popular it will be with surfers... And if it is not, it won't become of wide use.

Say goodbye to cash, checks , wire transfers, costly Payroll fees.

DIRECT DEPOSIT TO YOUR CARD

If your employer or government agency offers direct deposit you may have your salary or payment deposited directly into your account each pay period. Give your employer or the government, the ABA bank number, (located on the front of your card below your name line) and your account number (your 16 digit card number also located on the front of your card). They will make you sign an authorization, which will allow them to make the direct deposit. It may take a couple of weeks for the bank to complete this direct deposit transaction.

TRANSFERING FUNDS TO YOUR CARD FROM A BANK ACCOUNT

You may initiate the transfer of funds from a U.S. bank account to your card account. You may do so by calling the Customer Service number on the back of your card.

CARD TO CARD FUNDS TRANSFER

You may use the automated telephone system (VR option found in the "enhanced services" of the customer service 800#). Have your card account number, password and the number of the card you are 'transferring to" ready when you call. Or, you can transfer funds from one card to another through any STAR ATM network machine.

will there be a way to fund that card with:
cash, checks , wire transfers, money orders

we will accept checks, western union and paypal as FOP as well as credit cards

As a Paysite my question is does it work like a VISA credit card without a PIN for purchases and does it reduce or eliminate chargebacks?

Okay, BofA is FDIC insured, no question. That does not mean that preferpay is. You care to prove up that claim? I looked on your site for any indication that you were FDIC insured and can't.

Oh wait, it says: PREFERPAYCARD is a provider of financial solutions and is affiliated with an FDIC approved banking institution. That is a far cry from you being FDIC insured.

Part of what makes this operation seem so shady is bullshit claims (ie: Checks cost $6-$10 PER check
Wires cost $50+ and some banks charge an IN comming(sp) wire fee), and implying things like you are FDIC insured. You are not.

Oh yeah, you might want to invest in a spellcheck if you are going to cut and paste spam around. I know I have a problem finding credibility with companies that can not even put out a press release without spelling errors.

yes it does work without a PIN code as most others do not.
that is where 1 big difference comes in.

as far as chargebacks.

because it is a prepaid card if the customer requests a "chargeback" they must fill out a request from Visa stateing the type of fraud committed. He must sign the afidavit and send it to Visa

It is lengthly process and If the user is committing fruad it is much easier to catch it

the % of charge backs is much lower than regular credit cards

yes it does work without a PIN code as most others do not.
that is where 1 big difference comes in.

as far as chargebacks.

because it is a prepaid card if the customer requests a "chargeback" they must fill out a request from Visa stateing the type of fraud committed. He must sign the afidavit and send it to Visa

It is lengthly process and If the user is committing fruad it is much easier to catch it

the % of charge backs is much lower than regular credit cards
Sounds like as a paysite I do not need to do anything to accept the card as long as the Bin's are not blocked. Are you doing a partnership program for new accounts?

You are the same guy that offered over a 100 Million verified
email addresses of Spanish speaking people that own a credit
card right?

There are only 400 Million spanish speaking people (roughly)
So you claim that 1 out of 4 has AND internet access AND owns
a working credit card that he/she is using online
(*cough* scrubbing)

If I just look at Spain 50 Million people, less than 10 Million have
internet access.......most of those 10 Million are students and
donīt have credit cards.

Oh and if you had any real clue about the Spanish speaking
market you would know that online CC payments are next to
nothing except for some US spanish speaking people.

Your 100 Million Plus verified Spanish emaillist is BULLSHIT.
Is that why you now come with this great deal?

Why not take a few weeks off from the boards study your home
work and then come back with some stuff that you can actually
back up. Clearly this is not working out so well for you.
