Lang, a senior defense intelligence officer at the time, explained that D.I.A. and C.I.A. officials "were desperate to make sure that Iraq did not lose" to Iran. "The use of gas on the battlefield by the Iraqis was not a matter of deep strategic concern," he said. One veteran said, that the Pentagon "wasn't so horrified by Iraq's use of gas." "It was just another way of killing people _ whether with a bullet or phosgene, it didn't make any difference."

I read through this post but dont have the guts/stomach to click on the video. And I work as an oral surgeon, so I see blood every day. But the desecration & torture of an 'innocent human' I cannot watch.

No offense meant to the soldiers who are risking their lives...BUT...This reminds me of when a tornado hits and the news people find the dumbest mother fuckers in the area to tell what happened.

Actually, that was my first thought as well. The way he speaks he seems semi-retarded, but didn't want to post that. I would probably sound retarded as well if I was captured by bloodthirsty muslims. Or maybe he's faking it.
