Yes I know he said that. He was contrasting other clones against the fully licensed HK MP5 he was reviewing, which he says is well built.

H&K fully licensed Walther to manufacture this fire arm and call it an HK MP5....so that's what it is.

This has gone too far... Let's let the Mp5 thing go. Yay, you found a loophole to argue and squabble about. Odd how you chose to go with the mp5 right off the bat, I assume, knowing that it would bring this argument about.

I personally couldn't care less about an mp5 and it's variations. What I want proof of is this ability to freely sell fully automatic weapons that would otherwise require federal approval.

Nothing in my previous posts stated that an MP5 can only be obtained in fully automatic config.

Does that mean you no longer dispute that at Nevada gun shows a licensed gun dealer can sell semi-auto firearms w/o any background checks if the guns comes from the dealer's "private collection"?

BTW I chose the MP5 in my original hypo because I like that model.

Gun seller: No worries. Just create a "gun trust", name yourself as trustee , and then have the gun trust purchase these weapons. Thus, you will not need to go through a background check or finger prints, because technically, you will not be the individual purchasing or owning these guns. Instead the gun trust you created will be the purchaser/owner. But as the trustee, you will still have full control of these weapons.

Well, since it goes against everything I've known about purchasing Fully Automatic weapons. That's why I asked for proof. Citing. Law stating it to be true. News article about the issue among these shows. Anything with validity.
