Jihad Jr. didn't build no motherfuck'n clock!

He just took a Radio Shack digital clock apart and shoved it into a briefcase. I wonder what his motivation was for that? I don't know what to fucking believe anymore. It's like life in the world has become one big, bad reality show and we're all the unwilling stars.

Apparently Richard Dawkins was on a twitter rant about this the other day. Personally, I have to wonder why people care so much. Is it possibly because those people are angry/jealous that he might have gained some short-term celebrity status for something he didn't really do? He's a fourteen year old kid for crying out loud.

Where did you hear that? Not saying it's not true but just this is the first I've heard of that.

I'm all over the place on the issue.

When I was a kid, I always had an interest in science. I used to build electronic gadgets from kits made from companies like Etco, Heathkit, Edmons Scientific, Radio shack, etc. From between the ages of 6 to 10, I learned all about resistors, capacitors, transistors, solar cells, LED segments, batteries, AC, DC, radio waves, etc. You name it. The cool thing was that I wasn't alone. I knew several other geeks like me in the same school, and science class, in elementary, was the most popular class.

When I saw the picture of the briefcase, I saw instantly that there was nothing special about it, and was definitely not a bomb. I was thinking that any of the other teachers would have easily seen this too. And if so, whats the big deal? And apparently, he showed it to many teachers.

But then I thought wait a tick... I used to attach parts to a breadboard. It worked, but it looked like shit. When I tried to make my own circuit boards, they looked like shit too. This clock's boards sure look very clean. They are clearly pre-made boards as the man in the video says, and probably not any kind of a kit.

So then, if this kid lied about making a clock, why did he do it? Maybe he purposely made a clock to look like a bomb, and then brought it to school to purposely scare some people. Possible? I think so.

I read that he is a smart kid, does well in school, well liked etc... but something still doesn't add up here.

why would that kid take apart a clock, put it in a case, take it to school for no reason and claim he invented it?

I can see why the dude in the video is upset. He helps kids do some real nice electronics projects as opposed to taking the shell off a clock and putting it in a briefcase. Now the kid is getting all kinds of opportunities for it.

I don't think he tried to make it look like a bomb. If it had road flares or some plaster of paris wrapped tightly in saran wrap, I would think that was what he was trying to do.

He said he took it to school on Monday to show an engineering teacher, who said it was nice but then told him he should not show the invention to other teachers. Later, Ahmed’s clock beeped during an English class, and after he revealed the device to the teacher, school officials notified the police, and Ahmed was interrogated by officers.

Why was the device in English class in the first place, especially after the engineering teacher told him not to show it around? When confronted by police and his English teacher, why didn’t Mohammed just tell them to talk to the engineering teacher? When police asked Ahmed what the device was and why he brought it to school, according to WFAA:

Officers said Ahmed was being “passive aggressive” in his answers to their questions, and didn’t have a “reasonable answer” as to what he was doing with the case. Investigators said the student told them that it was just a clock that he was messing around with. “We attempted to question the juvenile about what it was and he would simply only say it was a clock. He didn’t offer any explanation as to what it was for, why he created this device, why he brought it to school,” said James McLellan, Irving Police.

Not difficult to do. But he is just a kid. I though it was cool to pull a stomper motor out and attach it to a battery. Wish I still has those stompers.

I felt for the kid at first. As more information came out, it seems like a publicity stunt orchestrated by his dad (who likes publicity stunts.) The guy "ran" for president of a country on the other side of the world, twice, from the United States. That's not reality, that's publicity.

This picture sealed the deal for me:

Or maybe we should call him a true American because his first instinct is to sue?

I used to empty out the gun powder in fire cackers and bottle rockets and build my own rockets and Use the gun power as the fuel (grew up on the space coast). Shit in today's world, I'd have been arrested for trying to build weapons of mass destruction..

When I was in college, I gave a kid a fired off Dragon wire guarded rocket launcher. He went around saying he was gonna do this and that with it. He couldn't - The missile was gone and the sighting system was removed. Police raided his house. He told them he got it from me. They called me in. I wouldn't say where I got it. They turned the case over to the military. Army CID called. I said I couldn't say anything. Issue was dropped.

This was early 90s, I would hate to think what would happen today.

Some people collect un-exploded ordinance and stuff. Demilled RPGs. Surprised more craziness hasn't happened.

Hey wait.... really? You too?

I used to buy several packs of sparklers, break the power off of the wire into a pile, then poor it into a container such as a plastic or metal tube, or anything that would not melt instantly, stick another sparkler into it as a fuse, then seal it up and light it. It wouldn't explode but it would make for a cool little fireworks show.

And you're right today, any kid would get arrested for doing that kind of thing.

So you think this 14 year old has the means to manufacture printed boards in his house? A clock isn't even that hard to make...

I'm just pointing that the video doesn't make any sense because of complete lack of proof. Then I have no idea how people could make a point by referring to that video.

From what photos I have seen the clock was not the product of a maker or hobbyist.

It obviously looks like a commercial clock removed from the case.

I regularly build things, I even make my own PCBs and even with my experience I could not create a double sided PCB that looks as clean as the one in the various photos I have seen.

Then you do have the inconvenient issue of why there is a 120v transformer hanging out of the case with a power lead attached. Nobody building something is going to be this clumsy with mains power - unless they want to be dead.

I giggled a few days ago when I saw the 9v battery lead sticking out. I used to do the exact same thing with phones and clocks, but when I was around 7.. And I knew I wasn't 'inventing' anything, too..

it's a pencil case designed to look like a briefcase. and based on the fact those who saw it irl became concerned, it does have the same effect.

His device could have killed someone, though, could shock him or his friends, or even cause a fire at his school..

Yes, that handling of mains power was very foolhardy. The input terminals of that transformer were exposed and live with 120v mains AC.

Maybe if he dropped it on someone's head from a tall building. Maybe if it was plugged into an electrical socket. Maybe if it was filled with gasoline, plugged into an electrical socket and dropped from a tall building.

Having a cord dangling and no battery in sight would cause someone to plug it in to make it work, it's more dangerous than you think..
Plus if it's a tall school.....

This is a great video getting at the truth of the Ahmud hoax bomb story out of Texas that the mainstream Hivemind neglected to fully investigate (or did investigate but concealed the anti-Narrative facts from public knowledge).

https://youtu.be/3WV2EdDGq5I

Ahmud made a hoax bomb, he likely knew it looked exactly like a bomb that would frighten his teachers, the school was right to report the little shit to the cops, and his family are a bunch of fifth column CAIR agents who have a deep hatred for White Christian America and who obviously believed they could rely on the equalist leftoid media, and President Butt Naked along with his cackling sneering army of techworld oligarchs, to carry their antiracism message unquestioned to the masses for yet another round of anti-White brainwashing.

That about sums it up.

Oh, except for this:

WAKE UP WHITE MAN.

PS Stefan Molyneux has a non-shitlib.png face.

PPS Bring back physiognomy.

PPPS Photo of Syrian migrants desecrating graves in Serbia. This is all related.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Why? He had a very suspicious (bomb like) gadget and was questioned for that. Sounds like an adequate reaction from police.

that's a random physicist who works at MIT, she's not speaking for MIT.. she also seems to be very politicized

Dr. Prescod-Weinstein works on questions relating to particle creation at the end of inflation, novel approaches to dark matter and technical issues relating to quantum fields in curved backgrounds. Her PhD dissertation focused on problems at the intersection of quantum gravity and cosmology. In addition, she believes strongly in the importance of equal opportunities and volunteers as a mentor for underrepresented minority women who are studying physical sciences. She has also been an active participant in the National Society of Black Physicists and the National Society of Hispanic Physicists.

maybe this kid is MIT smart. we'll see!

Did we watch the same clip???

The ugly astrophysicist chick was just boosting him up based on the same shit we all saw. You've never seen a NFL player tell a young kid, "Oh yeah Timmy, you looked great out there! You're going to be competing for my job soon." -- it has absolutely NOTHING to do with her qualifications at MIT. Maybe her political agenda, but her opinion and a dollar won't even buy you a decent cup of coffee. But once again, it was nothing more than her opinion. She knows dick about the kid other than, "he's good at putting stuff together". Yeah, that got me a full ride at Harvard.

Give me a fucking break. She was just shooting hot air up the kid's ass to show support.

i think you are agreeing with me, so yes, we watched the same clip.

i can't be certain the kid ain't MIT level, so i am saying *maybe* he is MIT material. but MIT is the shit. the apex of physics and math study. personally, i think the kid is full of shit and being puppeteered by his grandstanding dad.

hah, no worries, mang, i know where you're coming from. but yeah you're right, the kid's dad is behind all of this. i do feel for the kid, that is if he realizes the subterfuge, not sure if kids his age know what that is. i figure they do.
