The cool thing was that I wasn't alone. I knew several other geeks like me in the same school, and science class, in elementary, was the most popular class.
When I saw the picture of the briefcase, I saw instantly that there was nothing special about it, and was definitely not a bomb. I was thinking that any of the other teachers would have easily seen this too. And if so, whats the big deal? And apparently, he showed it to many teachers.
But then I thought wait a tick... I used to attach parts to a breadboard. It worked, but it looked like shit. When I tried to make my own circuit boards, they looked like shit too. This clock's boards sure look very clean. They are clearly pre-made boards as the man in the video says, and probably not any kind of a kit.
So then, if this kid lied about making a clock, why did he do it? Maybe he purposely made a clock to look like a bomb, and then brought it to school to purposely scare some people. Possible? I think so.
I read that he is a smart kid, does well in school, well liked etc... but something still doesn't add up here.
