Dr. Prescod-Weinstein works on questions relating to particle creation at the end of inflation, novel approaches to dark matter and technical issues relating to quantum fields in curved backgrounds. Her PhD dissertation focused on problems at the intersection of quantum gravity and cosmology. In addition, she believes strongly in the importance of equal opportunities and volunteers as a mentor for underrepresented minority women who are studying physical sciences. She has also been an active participant in the National Society of Black Physicists and the National Society of Hispanic Physicists.
