It's an obvious compensation for being bullied himself at some stage. A shame, because he can be, and at times is, very helpful, is obviously intelligent & knowledgeable, but when in bully mode he is an epic prick.

You can be a prick without being a bully about it, without harassing people, and without fucking with other people's business. I can do it, as can many others here, so maybe after some more practice he'll be able to as well.

All this we agree with

When he returned after his Thai holiday, he was more constructive & less defensive. Although within weeks fell back into the old routine, insulting people, acting like a complete idiot, a person you wouldn't want to know.

It's a mental state, lack of attention when a youth or maybe, as you say, he may have been bullied. A shame he can't just hold on to his thoughts & enjoy the people around him.

As you say, Damian gives some fantastic suggestions regarding marketing or design. Maybe when he returns, he can speak a little nicer to people, it costs nothing & is much more pleasing to everyone than being high on ego indulgence.
