I agree with you. I have always wondered why someone about to be executed cooperates with their executioner?? I mean, if nothing else make it unpleasant for them! Don't just site there or walk to the electric chair...they would have to drag me telling them to fuck off until they threw the switch!

It might be that they are in a state of shock and essentially experience those last moments in an almost altered state...who can say? Never been there but I know what you are talking about.
