Apple is only discontinuing the iPod Classic...all their other newer iPod models are still part of the lineup.
The iPod Touch and Shuffle and all that shit will still be around for awhile...so it's really not such a big deal.

It's amazing to me they still have the classic around for sale. It makes no sense to buy one when the ipod touch is so much better...
