Older male stars remain viable as leading men, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Bruce Willis, all 50 plus.

In porn where 'MILF' is an extremely popular genre, attractive older female porn stars like Lisa Ann, Julia Ann and Nina Hartley remain popular. Lisa Ann may be the most popular performer in the world of porn. Male talent with the exception of the guys who own their own studios and DVD lines just fade away when they get older, I assume the phone just stops ringing. You see some of them hanging on working for cheap for bottom of the barrell

Male talent make a real good living, the top guys make as much as the top girls. The mid-level guys used to pretty well too but with so much less production going on there's not enough work for them. Brazzers has guys signed to exclusive deals.

Maybe contract guys get more but even then how much? Not 100k like contract girls. So any way you look at it it's not a lot of money. It's like being a fucking waiter, as in lots of cash flow but nothing steady. The downside to any physical labor is if you ain't physically laboring you ain't getting paid.

I know a lot of talent, female & male.

Some are very careful with their money and are doing well. I know several that paid off & own homes & cars before they turned 30. Others I know are still broke at 50.

Guys for the most part earn a lot more than the women since they have longevity on their side. Guys can work into their 40s. Women are lucky to make it to 25 or 30. The discrepancy in per scene rate is made up by the number of years.

The fact that there are so few guys also makes it better for them. I just talked to a well known male talent who has been averaging 25 scenes per month for the past 3-4 years at $750 per scene. That's $18,000+ a month. Don't feel too bad for them if you can't save with that kind of income.

750 is great. We pay about 450 a scene for guys who aren't newbs to the drill & will do 3-4 scenes a week. & that is steady work if the guy can perform to the standard we want. Plus, we are very generous with kill fees so that if a girl doesn't show the guy is still walking away with his pay if he's at the studio before we realize it's a flake. But all in all they all fuck it up somehow. Some get the brilliant idea of trying to make their own porn or just doing stupid shit where you're like "bro wtf was that"
