Serge, I'd say most Aussies are VERY proud to be Australian. But we tend to be much less fervently patriotic than Americans. I expect most Aussies would simply see a flag burning as a shallow attempt to provoke a reaction. Sure some might take the bait, but I doubt anyone would view it as a mortal insult.

That said, Joe claims to be very familiar with US culture and if that's true he would've known many Americans would be grossly insulted by a burning US flag. So I think the sig was pretty fucking stupid! Most people come onto GFY hoping to form some relationships, have a laugh, learn some shit and hopefully do some business.
