Any Vegetarians or Vegan here?
I've been eating less and less meat for health reasons. I just feel its not healthy and its got a lot of disease in it. I've been eating more vegetables and fruit, rice, potatoes and I've been losing weight too.
Had dinner the other night with friends and ordered a veggie plate and I was stuffed by the end of it, it was delicious. I never thought I'd order a veggie plate in my life. I'm not there 100% but Im getting there. Any vegetarians or vegans here? How has it been working out for you health wise? ![]() ![]() |

I've been vegetarian for 4 yrs and am trying to go to a plant based diet (eliminating eggs and dairy). Also eat as gluten free as possible and as organic as possible Feel very healthy. Have a lot of energy to put into my work. Also do a mixed physical workout.

I'm a veggie. have been for 20 years. because I don't like the taste of meat ... but then I'm not keen on the taste of vegetables either!

I have been a vegetarian for about 23 years now
A vegetarian diet is indeed more healthy then a diet that contains meat and most people do see the results when they start. The thing that most starters do not consider though is that you should balance your meal very well and that you should get all your vitamins in. Some vitamins like B12 and iron are hard to get the sufficient amount in without meat. Dont be afraid to take vitamin pills to correct this!
