And here we go.

I wonder if he will release it. If he doesn't, then we know he intends to profit from it, thus it is commercial, thus it is still questionable.

I think if this is such a "free" idea and "we own all our posts" and "blah blah blah" then he will share the source code with all of us so we can all build nice little applications.

Hidden code doesnt mean its commercial.

There is something VERY sinister about the idea of someone going through MySQL and hand editing a forum table entry.

All you need is the right password and to click the 'edit' link by any ones post.

Or to be on the right shared network with someone.

GFY has some "bugs" in it.

That's right... I think I remember CE coming out with one not too long ago now that I think about it. I've been up working all night and my brain is loosing it's effectiveness with each passing keystroke.

Fuck, if I wanted to sue you for saying lensmen before warning me (which indirectly cause me psychological damage) I could.
We both probably would not win but we might have some fun during the process. :2 cents:

I'm not anyone's counsel bub. Why dont you show me some of your sites so i can start using your content in an unauthorized way?

So is competition. Competition offers people a different place to go therefore "stealing" visitors and taking traffic away - decreasing reloads etc..
bub, your arguments (if you could call it that) are very poor. It\s not by chance that you are not anyone's councilor :winkwink:

Gornyhuy,

I apologize.

I was not trying to attack you personally nor the validity of your application.

I was trying to inform you what I felt was a consideration that you should have made and I was way too aggressive.

:thumbsup MrPopup

Nevermind, the debate seems to be over.

Congratulations to GornyHuy for the business he started with a little application, and to MrPopUp for being humble enough to apologize. Not everyone is capable of this.
Itīs nice to see this ending well :)
