I could prove to you that shit flies. You start with a thesis then find as much supporting documentation as you can find. This is done all the time. For every medical study that says A causes B, there's two that refute it.

The fact is the toughline policy against Iraq was crafted by neocon intellectuals who all went to Harvard and Yale. They're hardly uninformed. They've spent literally years studying this issue.

If you know about the neocons, they became a force during the Reagan administration. Many of them came from the far left (in fact socialist left), but eventually saw the light and became the most hardcore proponents of a strong, cohesive strategy to eradicate communism. Unlike their predecessors who failed at eradicating communism, with Reagan they were triumphant.

Likewise, they contend that militant islamo-fascism, particularly Wahabism, is more insidious than communism and must be dealt with accordingly. That's their agenda!
