what the fuck is this about? what the fuck are they thinking? sent very spicy email to my gd guy, this is some seriously fucked up shit ... so, i have some domains with redirection there only, and those motherfuckers just put on it sign that my domain will expire in one month or so, so no redirection is made? they just steal my traffic? fucking serious? in gd domain center i see it as normal working redirect, but it goes to gd park page saying my domain will expire in one fucking month and five days!!! and now i dont know for how long the fuckers put that shit up on the site ... fucking thieves ... wow, really wow!!!
![]() btw, then, where to transfer my 1200 domains with cheapest renewall? thank you much for any answer and seriously big fuck off to your godaddy! we are done! |

If you call them, I'd be curious what they have to say about it. Though I hate calling those fuckers. Last time I called them, the dickweed on the other end of the line was too busy trying to sell me shit than fixing the problem.

Yep, last time I was on the phone with a GD rep they were trying to talk me out of moving some domains away, (I only use GD when I buy a domain from someone else who uses them) and I told them the pricing I was getting at internet.bs and they basically hung up on me. I mean not literally but their sales pitch was shut down hard. They had no rebuttal for that.

Lucas/Teencat... go here. Thank me later.
https://www.namesilo.com/pricing.php Seriously great pricing. NO extra fees for domain locking, domain defender, DNS services, LifeTime Whois Privacy, etc. The price you see is what you pay. And the prices are fully disclosed. By far, and I mean by far, the best Registrar I have used all of of these years. I can't say enough good things about them. Transfer them here: https://www.namesilo.com/transfer.php

I've looked here and nearly bought before. But I have a mental stumbling back every time I go to the domain. I keep seeing it as them branding their business as "Internet Bullshit", which is not what the .bs is supposed to be, but it sure gets inferred that way.

Yep same here. I think of that every time. But they bill you as "Emancipation Media, LLC" - much better name.

Things with Goddaddy are getting really not interesting since around 6 months or maybe a bit more. It seems they have taken the route " Lets make some big money no matter how" and things are getting now on some really rogue paths. Self-renewing domains set on NO self-renew, no more decent discount coupons for renewals. Almost everyone is using privacy feature so they have figured it out, no more decent coupons for privacy or other additional domain features + lets rise the price of privacy, this way they are now banking hell more than the basic price of domains. Naughty, so naughty Godaddy... well, hunting elephants must be expensive. I think I'm saying bye bye to them soon. I just need to figure out who is the best one to get my portfolio. |

Namesilo is the best domain registrar I've used and I had domains on almost all the ICAN registrars except for internet.bs that I found out about the past days.
The price for transfers is $8.39 for coms and $8.59 for renewals on 1000+ domains. At this price you get free WHOIS Privacy, Domain Defender and a really well designed admin pannel to manage everything. |

have about 40 domains with moniker, didn't have an issue till now but there were 2 certain things that bothered me:
their support is really, really slow on email, i receive any response in minimum 2 days i tried to register some .co domains and received an error, some shit that this option is available for verified accounts because of this 2 issues, i had to say fuck off to moniker and leave them |

Lots of serious domainers use Australian based registrar Fabulous.com Pricing for .com with accounts with 1,000+ domains is $8.79 and includes privacy and executive lock.

Hover.com is owner by Tucows, one of the largest registrars around. I've got some domains there.

Namesilo and Namecheap have the bulk my personal domain holdings.
I have a couple of domains left at godaddy and will move them when due next. The beginning of February Namecheap did a transfer special for $4 USD each, they donated $1 of that to the EFF. They give free whois protection with all domains. If Privacy can not be applied to a domain, such as dot US, you get a credit that can be applied to another domain in your portfolio. If you are going to move a large amount of domains you may want to make a phone or email inquiry referencing a bulk discount.

oh yeeeah, i just love those fucking canned answers, this is the point when their incompetence reaches the highest peak, i already forgot how many times i made them completely incompetent and love to complete those fuckin' ratings with the lowest grade possible.
it has been not even once when i talked with someone from namecheap for example and every time they perfectly understood my issue and immediately resolved it Quote:

This has been going on for years. This was their reply to me exactly a year back when I found out same thing as you did:
"When you set up domain name forwarding, we can typically update the domain name's IP address to use our forwarding IP address, but this change may be delayed of fail to take place for a number of reasons. Since the automatic update doesn't appear to have occured in this case, you must update the address manually so our domain name forwarding services work correctly." |

The elephant thing was a bad sign for sure, but when one has so many domains there it's always tempting to leave them be.
For the record I use NameCheap, I've been impressed, especially having previously used the disorganized and unreliable Hostgator domain service. ![]()

I stopped using Godaddy years ago. I tried to transfer several domains to them only to have them tell me they couldn't do the transfer since the domains were set to expire within 30 days. No problem. I assumed I would just renew them where they were and transfer them down the road.
When I asked for a refund for the transfer fees they refused to give me one and would only give me Godaddy credit. I could understand that if I bought something from them then returned it, but I paid them then was told they couldn't provide the service I had paid for. |

If the forwarding issue is the only thing bothering you, then don't use GD DNS and forward everything from your own server.

I'm only still with GD because I have a reseller account with a decent customer base I've built up over the past 11 years.
All my new regs are going through NameSilo or NameBright and working on transferring out all my personal names. Will keep the reseller account for as long as it remains profitable. |

I am getting pissed with godaddy as well, they have been piting up parked pages on domains that dont need to be renewed for a few days, plus they steal domains that expire and use another on of their companies to resell it back to you for $80 or some shit. They used to be good
