Looks like most of his films are either lost or very few copies remain. Unfortunately that's the case with many movies from 1910-1930.
Pretty cool though. I don't consider myself all that sheltered, but whenever I look into family tree biography stuff I'm always amazing at how much more my ancestors (even just a couple generations back) seemed to do with their lives via travel, adventure, careers, plus just general knowhow and life experience. Being forced to go all over the place fighting and/or fleeing due to the World Wars and global upheavals played a part in that though. In a way we're lucky to have been born into a relatively "boring" time... |
