    I Just Found This On Wikipedia...

    I was browsing around and came across this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lee_Hill_(cinematographer)

    Its my grandad - I knew very little about him so it was interesting...

                  Looks like most of his films are either lost or very few copies remain. Unfortunately that's the case with many movies from 1910-1930.

                  Pretty cool though. I don't consider myself all that sheltered, but whenever I look into family tree biography stuff I'm always amazing at how much more my ancestors (even just a couple generations back) seemed to do with their lives via travel, adventure, careers, plus just general knowhow and life experience. Being forced to go all over the place fighting and/or fleeing due to the World Wars and global upheavals played a part in that though. In a way we're lucky to have been born into a relatively "boring" time...
