as much as it sounds like a give and take, it seems like your relationship with each other is more manipulative on an extreme end. you two just pass it off as a give and take to make yourselves feel better.

you're young and by right, so is she. you guys sound like you are holding on to something that may not be there anymore out of a sheer safety net reasoning. my suggestion is take time apart (not a month or two but more like six months, a year at best) and see where it goes. i know that is hard to do cause she calls you and comes over, you most likely call her and the both of you do the i cant live without you thing but you both need to regroup.

time apart will tell if your relationship was a compromise or a bad , mental f*cking.
