I will double your sales!

I need to start a thread... my findings are killing me.

What I did was simply swap out saraswirls.com prejoin... and join page. Here are results:

May
Ratio: 1/973

June
Ratio: 1/1029

July
Ratio: 1/801

August
Ratio: 1/892

Ratio: 1/1095

October (THIS IS WHERE NEW NO LIMITS BILLING WAS INSTALLED)

These numbers are as real as they get... anyone who wants to step up their program hit me up. I will double your revenue...

I have learned a lot along the way... but what always bothered me was the billing process. Well, now, let me tell you about the billing process. For starters... you don't need third party billers!

And I would also like to express my interest in blackflag band... because they rock! Whatever music you listen to I suggest putting it into your car. Because radio bands suck almost as bad as 3rd party billers!

I looked at your pre-join and join page - what on those pages do you credit for the dramatic improvement in conversion rate? nothing jumped out at me as to why somebody would be 3 times as likely to submit their credit card as they would if it was a CCBILL or Epoch join page.

Were you using a pre-join page where surfers input their username/pass/email and radio buttons to select between full membership and trial?

I could tell you the answer, I actually have it all written out and sent to someone, but none of you will get it. Not to be insulting, but it is the hard truth. It is the smaller details typically that make, or break, the process.

To add... it is the exact same thing I saw when I opened up my mainstream merchant account. Sales immediately increased (multiple reasons) and rebills are out of this world awesome. I offer $0 trial on mainstream and easily keep chargebacks in check.

Honestly Sara, I was so discouraged trying to secure a merchant account. Snotty little reps wanted nothing to do with me unless I could prove 100K/month billing or some outlandish requirement.
We really, really lucked out with an old contact who came through for us. And what do you know?

Yes but without knowing the CONTEXT for these numbers they don't really help much.

In other words, going from 3 sales a day to 6 sales a day is great but doesn't impress me that much, especially since the data is so new. But if she went from 20 sales to 40+ sales THEN I would be impressed.

The problem with just touting conversion ratios is that they don't translate to other websites, companies, operations, etc. How much traffic Sara gets and where it comes from is way more important data than simply doubling conversion ratios. Volume of sales is critical.

It more then doubled.

I've set this up before, in mainstream. I will get to my computer and post the graph. It is, without any shadow of a doubt; the ratio of conversions that matter. The ratio will always hold true. So 5 sales, 20 sales, 100 sales... it doesnt matter.

And dont you want to get out of adult? Shit, i could bill the hell out of your sites and give you that exit. I have no plans to shoot content or any of that, but would make a sale price to someone much more desirable.

Just to clarify... we did nothing on the third of this month different. No added traffic, nothing. I put live the pre-join and the join page and bam... immediate increase. Do not get me wrong, I put live forms last month and offered a ridiculously low trial and... NOTHING. Absolutely nothing. I pulled them, went back to drawing board... and wadda bam... sales.

We have purchased traffic the last 7 days, but that only makes the overall ratio higher. We are seeing sales from purchased traffic so that will continue. But from the 3rd, to about the 13th... NOTHING changed except pre-join and join page. And the numbers, by themselves, tell the story.

I just want to clarify something as I have received a lot of emails (god knows how since I posted the wrong email lol)... I am not a biller.

I cannot bill as a biller. I can, and is perfectly legit, partner with programs and provide the billing for sites that I am partnered with. That partnership includes anything that any other partnership would include.

But think about it... you are basically partners with third party billers anyway. You are giving them 15% to get your sales processed. And by doing so, you are getting your asses handed to you by hard scrubs, generic forms, lack of sales thought, etc. etc.

This is interesting on a lot of levels.

Why the conversion rate has changed so radically is a subject for conjecture at best.

If only a month, there are few rebills, I am assuming a monthly subscription and not rebills like our cam sites do. You mean conversions from free trials ( or $3 [whatever])?

What your chargebacks (and disputed transactions) will be a few months down the road remains to be determined. With your own merchant account you can not only dispute chargebacks but also institute your own loss control processes at the transaction-point (the "buy page').

I don't think the volume matters that much -- any profit is a good profit. But it is only a profit when you deduct your time spent in administering your own merchant account and the billing process.

When you realize that we are 100% serious as a hear attack with good intentions sharing data and results we are not obligated to share then folks may actually end up appreciating our motives and efforts.

We could have slept, sat on and kept this revelation to ourselves but it really is too astonishing to hoard, and it is the right thing to do regardless of all the insults and names we have been called for making these assertions and calling in to question the integrity of 3rd party billers

Rest assured with this thread and this data their integrity is now under a microscope...not ours

I do not suspect they are thrilled or relieved at the findings we have shared

Again no B.S. Simply removing 3rd party billers from the equation and now counting and collecting our own sales,and data in real time is what has happened.

We do a very large volume of transactions (thousands of transactions a day) and loss control is a big issue ... I would wait to "declare victory" for 6 months or so of processing experience.

There is always some blowback in any new process to be mitigated. You still have the chargeback ratios to stay under. If you are excepting/approving more sales, that in itself is good, but your exposure to chargebacks increases -- hopefully not in proportion or in excessive proportion to your accepted transaction ratio increase. That is the "tough row to hoe" in credit card processing.

As much as I didn't enjoy Beaners earlier spam work.. THIS is an area I believe in strongly, and over the years have encountered many problems with.

I know the immediate effects of two very important things, micro-tweaking join forms, page continuity, and most of all SCRUBBING.

I support you on this one Beaner, hope you help a lot of people out. If I were them, I would at least keep an open mind.
