Work out? Run? Do you even lift? List your top motivational songs here...

Looking to gather a list of motivational songs for various physical activities such as running. Something that has a good beat that will get me going. Do you have any? I'd love to hear them. TIA

Doing Cardio, I love to listen to Swedish House Mafia, the beat and pace of the music is great for running I find, especially when the tracks change up to something a bit faster, I find myself upping the speed on the treadmill for that song, keeps it interesting.

Once the beat drops its game over. In the zone, repping weight to the tempo of the beat!

For Cardio i like to listen to house or dance type music. Easy to keep moving with it i find. Also easy to tune it out and just catch the beat, so i can think while i run. I dont run enough.

Anyway for lifting, heavy metal.
Some of my favourites. Seek and Destroy..Skazi version
Motorhead Ace of Spades.
Ministry new world order
Dirty deeds...acdc

and others...those should get you going

Good shit. Keep adding them boys. I'll compile the list as the thread dies and do a mega post for the unborn, future GFYers of the world.

I cycle every day or at least try to. I don't have a specific song I ride to, but I just put my iPod on shuffle and roll with it. I use a bluetooth headset when I ride so I can just skip songs as needed.

His entire album is like that I highly suggest downloading it. Its one of those albums you can listen to on repeat and never get bored of.

you wear headphones on a bike? do you have a death wish?

I get too into the music myself to have it as background noise, I'll throw on some random high tempo techno stuff for cardio sometimes i guess. I would never wear anything for lifting though. that takes 100% concentration for me..

I use the gym at my apartment complex and zone out on shows like Law and order: SVU and CSI miami when running.

At places like 24 hour fitness I love doing mixes with a lot of Dropkick Murphys in it

I guess I'm weird. I work out 4 days a week. But I don't like to listen to anything.

I kinda use that time to think about stuff. It seems to work for me too. I come up with a lot of ideas that I use when I get done and come back to the office. Storylines for scenes, thoughts on shooting angles, editing ideas, etc.

This one's not bad (although I prefer something with more rock/metal in the mix), check related videos too.. or just go for "never gonna give you up" directly
