DVD Burners?

Does anyone have any experience with DVD burners?

Are there conflicting standards I need to worry about?

Their's 2 format: the DVD+R & DVD-R
They are not compatible.

This is a good article on the subject: http://www.idvd.ca/dvd-format-guide.htm

It take about 45 minutes to burn a full dvd...

If you are looking for a burner buy the only burner that could burn both formats: Sony DRU500AX

Rocco, I recently converted all my videos to DVD format using a
NEC ND-1100A DVD+R

I have shipped them to over 20 countries so far, and have had NO returns or problems I'm happy to say. Most of my orders come from the U.S., and there have been no problems there either.

Use +R NOT -R

+R is much more compatible with DVD players, as well as computer DVD players, which is why I chose that format. The disks are a bit more, but worth it.

Hope this helps!
