He explained why already but also I thought I'd point out that for affiliates there can be a big difference between a sponsor putting their content up on such tubes and those who don't. One sponsor who recently went out of business used to put their content all over the place to the point where the tube ranked first for their paysite name in Google. Another has almost no such tube listings in the first couple pages for their paysite name.

Guess which one has always sold better and guess which one last I hear made over $1 million in sales in one year in a relatively small niche?

Just as a sponsor has the freedom to distribute their member area to the tubes if they so wish so too does the affiliate have the freedom to choose who they wish to promote. As it should be.

You can't if you don't put forth the effort into getting that much exposure in a single day from a collective of domains with legitimate operations owned by ethical people who do not fuck over other paysite operators who are in the exact same boat as you are.

Was that not blatantly obvious enough to warrant not pointing it out to you?

Maybe if you stretched your 5 year plan out into let's say a 10 year plan, you could settle for 10K uvees per day from some lesser non *user* uploaded Tube sites.

I'm hesitant to give it out although it's public knowledge in the archives here based on what the owner (who hardly posts) said last year. But I would guess the niche is about 20 times the size of the damsels in distress micro-niche and about 60% of the bondage niche in size. Something like that anyway.

Well, I was talking general numbers, not being specific in my previous posts. LOL All affiliates altogether send about 20k a day, type-ins and search engines add more but we're talking affs here. Most is from tubes - about 80% - and the rest come from 'smaller' affs who send a few hundred hits. But those smaller affs make sales, too because my tours convert so well.

Remember too I advertise for affiliates here on GFY and elsewhere and I run 32+ paysites.

I started in this game when many affiliates had already fled so my perspective is less than 5 years old. I missed the 'golden era' of online porn, from 1998-2007 or whenever. So, in today's climate NOW, eliminating tubes as affiliates would not bring me more affiliates because there are less of them around. Not my fault, just the environment I'm trying to do business in.

Either way, in the end, people will do whatever they're gonna do so I don't stress about it. Life itself, "real" life, will bring all the stress anyone ever needs, I don't need to go looking for it on GFY. LOL

Funny side note....
Yesterday I bought MacKeeper app for my desktop to clean out the crud. Worked great.
Today, I went to a few tubes to check for stolen content.
MacKeeper exploded with warnings to the point I had to reboot.
