The problem our industry faces is that a large percentage of the people who own the ad networks are also pirates or used to be pirates themselves.
Here is more from the article: Quote:
Best Practices website: http://2013ippractices.com/ If only adult would have done something like this five years ago. Of course we all know why they didn't. The crooks are in charge. So now your paysites make 1/10th of what they used to and affiliates are on the boards begging for money if they are still around at all. Now think of all the pieces of human dogshit who were involved in this and left the industry within the last half decade. They are now sipping martinis on the money they sold for while you bust your ass for pennies.

This is no real news, these ad networks are not the ones used in pirate sites: "Google, Yahoo, 24/7 Media, Adtegrity, AOL, Condé Nast, Microsoft and Spo***hange".
It would be news, if a list of ad networks normally used in pirate sites may stop being there, but this is not going to happen unless they are fined or sued.

Good news, but there will be always a part in the shadows where the money flows through legal business services.
google, yahoo, ... they will have only interest in a clean appearance and PR, but they love money. Wouldn't overestimate this news, but let's see. ![]() |
