As we say here, Moscow is not Russia and Russia is not Moscow. It's like to compare NYC or LA with the real one-storied America.
P.S. I've been to both and I know the difference :2 cents: |

Once again there is no direct election system in the USA. |
Snowden didn't think this out too well. It's stunning that he thought he jet set around on someone else's dime without understanding that the US would kill his passport.
Not too bright. |

that's not what you implied earlier and that's what i was replying to. everybody's vote here counts the same as everybody else's. that has nothing to do with the electoral college and how the election process works. |

the electoral college has worked pretty well, but not perfectly. I understand when it was developed it was a far better option that the alternative, which would have been to allow only members of Congress to vote.... but i think we are at a point where it is time for the U.S. to have a direct popular vote.
the two main political parties have been around for decades, so you would still have just 2 main candidates, its is super easy for the entire nation to hear every word a politician says on the campaign trail, and technology is where the votes can be easily tallied on a national level. just my opinion, but i dont see any reason to risk having another instance where the popular vote and the actual results do not line up. i think its happened just three times ever, and before Bush it was in the late 1800's, but still that is 3 times too many, and the third one really cost the country imo |

E.g. Let's consider that 65% citizens of Kansas have voted for Bush Jr, it will be considered that the whole state has voted for him (i.e. 100%). But wait, where are those 35% that gave their voices to Gore? This is not fair. |

You are said that the reason people in KS vote differently than those in NY is because of their education. |

The spy business is always smoke and mirrors. Whatever is put out in the media right now on either side is probably put there for a reason. |

moreiver, he is very lcuky due to animosity towards usa, hong kong, as you pointed out, prides itself on having a better system than china, based on that system, they decided the extradition request was invalid, not to mention this is an opp to snub usa. russia, exactly the same. |
