Sliiing is a very very impressive tool developed by a very very sincere and talented individual dedicated to improving stats checking,sales tracking, affiliate tracking, and many other aspects of running adult websites.

Once you login to sliiing all of your sales data, form hits, rebills are instantly available to you to analyze with no wait times.

The only disadvantage if you wish to call it a disadvantage is the 3rd party billers still have to report the data directly to sliiing, so sliiing can transmit the data to you and to me.

How do you balance that? For example: a small paysite uses very little of other people's resources but in turn gets it's own members area overrun.

Good point. The benefits are basically a minor enticement to get surfers to sign up (i.e. "Bonus Sites"), but if the cost is possibly thousands of new members eating up your bandwidth for free it's not really worth it.

Sounds like there will be a way to customize who you're sharing memberships with via the different "circles", but it's not clear how much control each webmaster has on this.

Also, can't say as a paysite owner that giving member management over to a 3rd party is all that appealing.

Honestly I don't see the minor advantages for each webmaster really outweighing the potential pitfalls, I'm open to hearing the other side of this though.

The new members don't tend to eat up any BW, they don't usually get to the site. It's just the way it is.

As a program owner you want really to do 2 things: Convert surfer, have them not cancel immediately. What does offering another 11 sites along side your own do? Those two things. Those extra *bonus* sites can be the deciding factor in a spur of the moment buying decision.

I can say my BW did not go up at all, 3 weeks of data, not a *blip* of difference made. That is until we actually started to email the new members again reminding them to check out the new sites. The circle I'm in added about 10-12 gigs per day by doing so. A total non-issue in my opinion.

I think it is a killer opportunity for the smaller programs who only have a couple sites.

On top of Beaner's reply, I would add this: Most of sponsors using this offer are not ultra big programs with 20 websites and 1000's of customers. These people do not need to use Sliiing Circle as they are allready offering tons of content.

Webmasters that will use (or are using) Sliiing Circle are having anywhere between 30 and 500 members. It makes no big difference on the bandwith usage.

At the end of the day, it is always a question of your own view of adult marketing. 5 years ago, I would never have thought participating to this kind of offer. Nowadays, anything that can help bringing sales in is a plus! Of course, if your website is converting 1:200, you do not need Sliiing Circle. (but you may need Sliiing as backend affiliate software though!) However, if your sites are converting 1:2000, Sliiing Circle may help you to convert better.

When a surfer subscribe to your website, your biller will send us the details of the sale including the username/password. We simply take these logins and add them to the all the Sliiing Circle participating sites' password file. And we remove them from the password file when the logins expires.

Huh. I consider my vintage paysite to be towards the smaller end of the spectrum in the grand scheme of things, and it exceeds that range. Maybe I'm off-base on that. I mean are these sites with less than 100 members even still active, or just going on residual signups?

At 500 members you should be billing out 15k per month. If you are above that then you are doing good.
Oferring more sites on your pre-join and/or join page is an extra incentive for your surfer to pay.
Every single detail up until surfer pays is very important. That is certainly something I hav realized.

Then, you are doing well!

Those with less than 100 members are active webmasters. They are mostly beginers.

Please note that I wrote "webmasters using Sliiing Circle". Sliiing Circle being stricly the offer that I am talking about in this thread.

I have all kind of sponsors using Sliiing as backend affiliate software. Some with 4000 members and some with 30 members! I would say that the average sponsor have anywhere between 100 and 2500 members.
