Sounds like there will be a way to customize who you're sharing memberships with via the different "circles", but it's not clear how much control each webmaster has on this.
Also, can't say as a paysite owner that giving member management over to a 3rd party is all that appealing.
Honestly I don't see the minor advantages for each webmaster really outweighing the potential pitfalls, I'm open to hearing the other side of this though.

The new members don't tend to eat up any BW, they don't usually get to the site. It's just the way it is.
As a program owner you want really to do 2 things: Convert surfer, have them not cancel immediately. What does offering another 11 sites along side your own do? Those two things. Those extra *bonus* sites can be the deciding factor in a spur of the moment buying decision.
I can say my BW did not go up at all, 3 weeks of data, not a *blip* of difference made. That is until we actually started to email the new members again reminding them to check out the new sites. The circle I'm in added about 10-12 gigs per day by doing so. A total non-issue in my opinion.
I think it is a killer opportunity for the smaller programs who only have a couple sites.
