i am seriously considering to start playing guitar again, but i am interested in sort of raw trashy and heavily distorted sound like jsbx.

already found some stores in london with decent selection of vintage guitars so i might pick something there during my next visit.

eastwood has some nice airline guitars replicas but they look too new for something i am looking for, however i might buy one of those.

You can't go wrong with a Strat. I don't think there is a more versatile instrument out there.

I really, really, really want to start recording music again. I used to have a sweet Boss recording studio that was pretty epic but it shit the bed after only two years. Frustrating considering it cost me $1,500.00 and I didn't get to use it that much. Ugh. Now if I want to record something I have to use my shitty webcam which is just that - shitty.

I have three of them ... my current favorite being a 2006 Eric Clapton Signature Fender Stratocaster. Its a white one with the noiseless pickups.

My other is a 1993 Sunburst w/gold lace sensors, Rosewood board and a 1999 Black w/gold lace sensors, Maple board.

All three have entirely unique voices but are also incredibly versatile for any style.

Last friday the reigning king of the Strat Eric Johnson played in Madison. I had front row seats. The tones he gets out of his guitar are nothing short of impressive. If you haven't seen him he is just starting a 2013 tour and is well worth the price of admission.
