I think I found my next guitar.
I haven't played one, but I sure like the design. I can only believe Jackson didn't drop the ball on how it sounds and plays.

As is usually play while sitting this wouldn't work well. I love the colour though.
|
nICE one, but as F said sitting would suck donkey balls
|
nice design work - reminds me that I haven't touched mine for like 5 years:pimp
|
Damn, now i want a guitar with that colour.
|
I should've posted the link to Jackson, they make this in a gray also

I usually sit when I play as well so this wouldn't work for me either. Jackson makes some great guitars, though. I've only messed around with a few over the years but they've all played and sounded amazing.

Nice. Great looking!

Looks good :thumbsup

People that play guitar are on par with harp afficianados :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
Have luck http://static3.fjcdn.com/comments/bi...5a46f66cdf.jpg |
You may want to look into buying 'extra arms' - with so many guitars your arm shortage is only going to get worse as your collection increases in size. :pimp

i don't play guitar for years anymore, but those new high tech guitars aren't too appealing to me.
i like more vintage look like this: http://www.studiogears.com/scart/pub...7850_large.jpg and i bet i would like the sound from this old one much more than from this new high tech :thumbsup |
I like dean guitars.

Pretty cool Minte. Haven't seen one in person yet. I love the Gibson Vs and older Jackson Vs and shark fin models. Ny favorite electrics are still Les Paul Standards and PRS.
Always looking for cool vintage acoustics. Amazing what you can find sometimes. Just picked up a vintage ibanez lawsuit guitar styled after Gibson Hummingbird for just $200 with a case :) it is an absolute gem. Plays and sounds amazing. 40+ yrs old with nice aged wood and great action. |

I have been playing since I was 9. I've played in rock bands, blues bands, bluegrass bands, jazz bands..and studied classical for nearly 15 years. I hung up the classical recently and am back to electric again. |

Beautiful, But I can't do the flying V thing and rip it up. Unless I lock it between my legs ala... Michael Schenker and even then my picking hand don't know what to do.

I'd love to listen to some of you other musicians. http://www.bikinipage.com/gfy/slow_blues_A_Ibanez.mp3 |
Not bad! I have a little Fender Mustang III I play through with my Schecter but as of now I have no way to record anything. I used to have an awesome little home recording studio but it shit the bed last year. I need to find something cheap I can use to lay down some tracks. I'm not very good but love messing around anyway. It's therapeutic.

you seem to be selecting your guitars based on looks, which is dumb

I already own a Jackson along with a lot of other instruments. If I don't like it when it comes I send it back. |

The guitarists that I know like different guitars because they make different sounds. |

After playing mostly classical for so long, my goal this year is to fill out my electric collection to perfection. I am really having fun playing solid bodies again. |
Nice one!
I'm not sure it's great look fit with my style of music, I'm so dead boring I'm saving for a Telecaster. Have other guitars too, but you know; Can't have only one ! :upsidedow JOlly |

Here is my latest acquisition a couple of months ago, a PRS McCarty with AAA top:

I haven't played one, but I sure like the design. I can only believe Jackson didn't drop the ball on how it sounds and plays. So the answer to your how the fuck question is...you can't. But i do have enough of years of owning more guitars than I can remember. I know what the different p'up setups sound like. I know what my amps sound like. I know I prefer rosewood to maple fretboards. I also know how to set up a solid body guitar precisely to my tastes. I could probably make a 2x4 with lamp cords playable. I wouldn't want to be seen with one though. I agree 100% that buying an acoustic guitar based on design would be a mistake. Anyhow...truce. I have no beef with other musicians. You have good solid collection and I respect that. edit:..I had a D-28 years ago and I took it to Europe with me. The airlines wouldn't let me take it in the cabin to store up front so I ended up buying a ticket for it and it sat next to me all the way. |

I play fender strat electric w/ marshall amp, seagull and takamine acoustic electrics... (the seagull is amazing).
if money were not a factor, i would kill to own one of these babies by Paul Languedoc, but $10K for a guitar seems a bit excessive :( http://languedocguitars.com/gallery/gallery2/2.jpg |
