Yep, noticed that too. The most funny thing is that their article about meteorite rain was available since this morning (in on the same place with the same pictures and the same text as now) but... only for Russian IP's. I'm surfing under the US IP, while my wife surfing under the Russian one, so we were getting two different versions of cnn.com

They say that shit weighed about 10 tons.. that's like 2-3 F-150 pick up trucks.. wonder how large/small the debris was when it exploded.. wonder how much some of those larger chunks are worth considering they have rare elements in them..

A large fragment from a meteor that crashed in Russia has landed in an icy lake, police say.

Scientists are keen to analyse the remnants, found near Chebarkul, a town in Chelyabinsk region.

The Russian Academy of Sciences estimates that the meteor weighed about 10 tonnes and entered the Earth's atmosphere at a speed of at least 54,000 km/h (33,000mph).

As BBC science reporter Rebecca Morelle explains, most of the meteor would have burnt up before hitting the ground.
