Canada only hangs on because we are willing to sell every natural resource we have to anyone, but this country does not have one single product that it can call its own. Blackberry? What else is there? Nothing.
As the States go, so do we. We are all fucked, and it does not matter who's in charge. There is not one person on this continent with the balls to clean up this insane mess of entitlement we currently live in. The political and financial systems in our countries are beyond repair. They literally cannot be fixed. Sure, Canada has safeguards, but we rely too much on America - and kiss too much American ass - to be a true independant nation. We sell resources and we have nothing else.
Ship is sinking. Soon to be sunk. Better to move to an emerging nation and avoid the fallout.
