Has this ever happened to you?...
I had one of my members email me today. As per his request, I had cancelled his rebill on 1/27/03. His password was supposed to be active until 2/19/03. He emailed me letting me know he was still able to get into the site. I called my third party processor and asked them if they could help. The rep I spoke to gave me an email address and told me what info to send including the subscription number of the customer so they could fix it.
As I was looking in the software to find his subscription number, I found that he wasn't the only one! There are 12 people currently whose rebill status is EXPIRED but yet their passwords still are ACTIVE. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what happened? Thanks Mandy

I've noticed little gremlins here and there. Just today I happened to view a list of charges for a recurring customer, and noticed that a declined transaction (with a successful one later) caused the rebill date to 'slip' forward by 14 days. Effectively those 14 days between the declined and successful rebill were free, since it rebills from the successful date, not the declined date.
I have also just noticed that my htpasswd has 7 more users than my processor thinks. |

I´ve looked at quite a few scripts that are provided by processors
and many times I ask myself how the fuck they could give something like that to their customers. if the quality of a processor is reflected by the scripts they provide then there are VERY few processors that I would trust handling the processing of my customers. I mean if they write their billing software in the same sloppy way......go figure. DynaMite ![]()
