Thinking of upgrading to 2013. What version do you use and do you like it?

Xero is the best solution.
Quickbooks and MYOB etc are dinosaurs in comparison. |

I use 2011 and don't need updates because I run payroll through PayCycle (which Intuit bought last year... but I was using before then).

Automatic bank and Paypal feeds, the ability for my accountant to work on it live from his office without having to share a data file with him, being able to do online invoicing, simple tax preparation, easy payroll, excellent reporting, it's just a great product.

![]() Many banks offer Quicken integration... Link Quicken with your business bank account, and a lot of the tax, payroll, A/R, and A/P work, gets done automatically for you as you use conduct business, plus it enables you to analyze your business better. ![]() ADG |

QB version 2010 still, but I hardly use it, aside from creating invoices.

Depends on how many of our companies he works the taxes for, we've actually known him a long time so we get a break on the cost, usually throw him around $1k and he'll do all 6 companies for us.
We also use him for other finance related business projects too which is why we get such a good rate with him. |

2012, pretty much just upgrade whenever they stop supporting a version
Their yearly payroll fee I find uncomfortably high for what I use it for

If you don't do a payroll, would you still suggest accounting software? I'm going it all by hand via excel and it's getting a bit tough to keep on top of.
