iphone backup question
Gf had her iphone die. Got a new one at the store and went to restore it, ended up syncing the new one over her old data. Basically losing everything
I am trying to help fix this disaster. Does anyone know if you were to do a windows restore, would that bring back the old sync? or is this situation shit out of luck? |

I did that with my new phone. I use the cloud so I enabled that. Went in to the cloud options and deleted the new backup. Restored with the old one.
If you use pc backup try to find the backups. Shift+click the restore button in iTunes and select the backup. Or delete all backups except the one you want to keep. Donno if this will work though. Never tried it. |

You can do a restore through Itunes and choose a previous backup. It keeps several backups. I always suggest doing a complete backup monthly to the computer and in between to icloud. I recently got a new iphone and did a full restore from iTunes choosing the last full backup to the computer and it was perfect.
