We've known this for years now, but it's still in chewing gum, diet soda, kids drinks etc. Despite all the warnings a significant percentage of people continue to consume Aspartame; perhaps their brains are already damaged too badly at this stage

It's no wonder with all the additives in food in the past 50 years or so that Autism now affects 1 in 88 children. (1 in 54 for boys)

It the UK it's hard to spot parents who don't give their kids aspartame-containing 'Fruit Shoots'. Even parents who should know a lot better. Fortunately the schools have banned Aspartame

Always depends where the funding for the studies comes from; when funded by those who profit from it we hear "It's lovely, couldn't be better"..."Radiation from Nuclear Power Melt Down's is Good For You" etc, whereas when it's independent not for profit studies, or a study from a University (with a non-conflict-of-interest source of funding) we hear "Toxic"..."Poison"..."Damages Health" etc.

i have the same problem and stay far away from it now. it took a couple months to find out what was causing my issues. once it was cut out, i was perfectly healthy again in 2 weeks (though it takes 90 days for it to leave your body i hear).

Same here.

I tried to switch to Crystal Light and some of those other supposedly "better for you" to drink things. Within no time my stomach and intestinal tract was on fire like I couldn't believe. I was shitting like a mofo, among some other issues that popped up.

It took me a couple of weeks of eliminating this, and trying that, before I narrowed down what was doing it. The aspertame in gum, crystal light, and all of the "new drinks" I had switch too trying to get healthier was the cause. Once I eliminated them completely, a lot of those issues disappeared completely.

Citric acid and aspartame in all of them.

I do not have issues with some of the other sweeteners like I did with aspartame. Stevia or whatever as an example. No issues what so ever.

I'm actually having this issue with testosterone replacement.. . the Dr's don't want to let me have a dose that actually works for me. the Dr's want to pull the dose down and give me anti depressants, muscle relaxants and pain pills when the testosterone is coving all of that.
