Which is smarter to do with my $$$ - GoFuckYourself.com

So I really want to kick things up a notch this month with the blog network. I'm thinking I have 3 choices with what I want to do with $2500 this month. I can either:

- spend it on traffic and advertising linking to sponsors from ads

- pay someone to help me build out more domains and do hand updates

- leave the money in the bank to earn interest.

Which to do? I hate to lose the 2500 as its more than I make a month but I need to make a move or two or I will never make real money online. Any advice?

Number one is risky unless you have a clue about what you do, number 3 is lame and not making your business grow. Investing back is the way to go if you want to grow. Just make sure you invest back wisely ;)

I use trafficholder / buy directly from guys I know. I don't deal with blogs though...

I do write posts, I do pay for posts but everything I do is handwritten 100%.

I have never used traffic holder. My only fear with buying traffic is the bounce rate that comes with it. Google may get upset and drop rankings.

Split a portion between Option 1 and Option 2, if you have any good leads on buying traffic. Realize that Option 2 can take a few months before you start realizing the benefit.

Do not buy traffic.
It will not affect your google rankings, but you will lose money.

Traffic sellers are a scam 99% of the time. They sell it because they can't make money on it. Everyone who tells you to buy traffic just wants you to use their ref code so they get their $1 commission.

Put $1000 in the bank. Then split the rest between working on your current sites and creating a couple new ones. The only thing I would suggest doing when creating new sites is to not overwhelm yourself. You want to be able to devote the time and money needed to the current or new sites without overdoing it. If you have too much going on at one time then you will fall behind (learned from personal experience). Unfortunately leaving money sitting in the bank isn't going to earn you any real interest right now since its very low unless you have high xx,xxx or more sitting around.

I haven't seen it hurt my SE yet, got around 20 blogs plus a small 5 blog network using their mobile redirection and traffic has stayed the same.

#1 Great way to make money, but if you have a low tolerance for risk, this isn't you. You may blow $1000, only make $100, before you find a winning formula and if you can't handle risk you will be freaking the fuck out. Without experience, I would not touch this with $2500. You will need to lose several hundred dollars right off the bat and with that small of a bankroll it will really hit you emotionally.

#2 This will take time to bear fruit, so make sure that you are investing the money in a system that you know will pay off. Don't make guesses. Take a current working system and scale is larger.

#3 Do this if you don't believe in and feel confident about #1 and #2. Just because you have spare money doesn't mean you should invest it. Save it until you find a system/product that you really believe in, then go balls out.

You may as well fly to Vegas than randomly pick out of a hat something suggested by people who don't understand what you want to achieve or care about it. If you don't want to lose $2500, or can't afford to, then don't risk $2500.

Forget the idea of using it to get rich quick, just do what you're already doing, but more of it, while gradually trying out other different things. Things that don't cost or require much money. Risking money you can't afford to lose is nuts.

Wow, some really great feedback here. Thank you all. Truthfully, my objective and plan is to scale. Doing so is not possible at this time given the lack of man power and time.

I guess I've determined what I need...

1) part-time updater to physically help with updates.

2) find the time to grab more galleries for blog posts.

3) buy more handwritten writing posts.

4) buy more domains and build more blogs

5) .....move up to step 1 -> GET AN EXACT PLAN/PROCESS DOWN BEFORE DOING ANY OF THIS SHIT OR IT WILL BE A NIGHTMARE IN THE FUTURE.

In the past I tried adding in ref links but to be honest, that's no way to make money IMO. Best way is to be honest, help people and if someone needs something just give it to them. I do this bc one day it will all come back to us that do.

Well, I haven't kept up on my own adult blogs since April so that hurts plus a few mainstream affiliates decided to not pay for bs reasons and tracking wasn't working for another one all summer.. A whole summer's worth of hookah and bong sales gone..

I can do any kind of work that you need for your network, but I understand if you find someone else.

She wants to make videos again but doesn't look like she use to so I might give her a new name and just make another site. Depends on if someone wants the one I have. Agreed.

One of the best things I ever did was investing in automation as you build out your empire. While it can be expensive building all of these scripts initially, all you have to do it start adding up the man hours over a year and see that it's a sound investment.

In the end, you are working smarter, not harder. You are able to scale much faster.

I would spend $500 a month for 2 or 3 months in AdWords using your affiliate links to the sponsor as your sponsor's affiliate agreement allows.

Hold the rest of the money ($1000.00) in reserve for additional SEO work to your existing sites over a similar time period.

You will have time to tweak your plan if you need to this way ...

Bulk traffic will buy you branding but few sales ;)

AdWords and SEO referrals make affiliates money usually (in webcams anyway ...)

If you're already making money with blogs then you should go with the advice that the majority of people here are giving you, and go with the second option.

But If you're struggling with building your blog network i.e. not getting good ranking, or conversions etc..then you should definitely go with DamageX's advice. If you don't know what you're doing, it doesn't matter how much money you spend; you won't make much money.

It's ok to spend the money on your network, but don't spend it all; unless you know what you're doing. Trust me...I'm always spending too much money on content, scripts, traffic, and anything else I can find...I usually end up abandoning the project because I don't know what I'm doing.

But If you're struggling with building your blog network i.e. not getting good ranking, or conversions etc..then you should definitely go with DamageX's advice. If you don't know what you're doing, it doesn't matter how much money you spend; you won't make much money. It's ok to spend the money on your network, but don't spend it all; unless you know what you're doing. Trust me...I'm always spending too much money on content, scripts, traffic, and anything else I can find...I usually end up abandoning the project because I don't know what I'm doing.
