Ok in recent I posted a rant or two about how I see posting of offers on the forums, and that I should be allowed to do the same. However that isn't the reason for this post so don't start jumping all over me. MY

I monitor several forums, including GFY, and have for years. But this does take up a large amount of my time in a day if I do it properly. Is there a client that I can used that will scan the board for keywords I set, and alert me if someone I feel is important comes up?

Second part of this thread. Again in one of my rants I went on about how RackEngine has given away all most 2000 hosting accounts to GFY and people they have referred. Someone stated that they don't believe that there are 2000 active members on the site. So if I were to spend advertising dollars here, as suggested, what am I really getting. When I come to the site, I see the same banners day in and day out. I'm sure that the overall impression count is high, but if their is truly a small number of REALLY active members, I would be paying to have the same folk see my banner day in and day out. I'm not sure if that is an effect means of spending advertising resources.

Can any provide me some good suggestions here before I go ahead and spend budget.

Don't get things twisted. You didn't give away 2000 free accounts from one fucking thread and that is not the same as buying a banner everyone would see over and over again. Buy a fucking banner already and stop starting threads about it.

Someone said that said on one of my other threads that they didn't believe there are 2000 people on GFY. I just figured that a lot of people referred their friends, so on and so. Which is fine, but I think I would like to understand the demographics before spending money on ad space. I mean that's smart right, knowing the target before hand to ensure proper placement.
