I monitor several forums, including GFY, and have for years. But this does take up a large amount of my time in a day if I do it properly. Is there a client that I can used that will scan the board for keywords I set, and alert me if someone I feel is important comes up?

Second part of this thread. Again in one of my rants I went on about how RackEngine has given away all most 2000 hosting accounts to GFY and people they have referred. Someone stated that they don't believe that there are 2000 active members on the site. So if I were to spend advertising dollars here, as suggested, what am I really getting. When I come to the site, I see the same banners day in and day out. I'm sure that the overall impression count is high, but if their is truly a small number of REALLY active members, I would be paying to have the same folk see my banner day in and day out. I'm not sure if that is an effect means of spending advertising resources.

Can any provide me some good suggestions here before I go ahead and spend budget.
