This image hosting company is a pain in the ass, ignores any copyright violations and is now funded by Webmoney, can you do anything about that?

Webmoney is an issue we are all well aware of. For operational reasons we won't discuss our strategy for dealing with it.

Which file lockers really matter in your opinion ?

It seems you don't understand what's happening. That's a good thing, that's just how we like it.

ImageCherry have already been terminated by Paypal, any new accounts will be shut down pretty quickly from experience. We've re-reported it.

It's very well for others to point fingers. Just submit the ones you think are relevant and AK will tell you what's happening or add them to his list.

It's easier for them to complain and expect others to do something for them. Or they are upset that AK destroyed their business. I'm sure every AK hater will fall into one of those categories.

Paul Markham 08-18-2012 08:46 AM

In the past 50 days since Stop File Lockers was started, 247 sites have been terminated by Paypal.

There's no need to say more. :thumbsup

Michael O 08-18-2012 09:31 AM

AK if you come across someone using Zombaio or RedPass send me a mail and we will look into it asap and we will deal with them.

Good job on what you are doing :)

Hey anonymous fucktard, if you paid attention even in the slightest instead of pretending to be a troll, you would know both of those sites have lost Paypal already because of AK. They keep getting new accounts under different names.

It amazes me how some of you make it through the day without causing serious injury to yourself.

Redrob 08-18-2012 11:11 AM

AK, Keep up the good work!! You deserve a big THANK YOU!

I understand you are fucking retarded and unable to grasp what is going on here - hence the reply based solely on your ability to click smilies. The impact is on payouts, not hosting, and most of these sites are very much in operation.

i know you fucktard. Ever hear of sarcasm? None of these sites have 'died' or even had an impact with a paypal loss. In fact, with paypal gone, most of these sites are stronger now. And the fact is, there is not really an argument when telling a merchant processor, that the majority of files on this filehost are all illegal. We can't find any legal files. This is because the backups and private documents aren't likely to be shared.

You'll find once Mastercard and Visa terminations start happening that the balance between legal and illegal files will be moot.

Visa and Mastercard will always err on the side of protecting their brand. If their brands are associated with thousands of illegal files available publicly then they'll act on a sites payment processing regardless of how many innocuous legal files are available privately.

Watch this space, this project has only been operational for 53 days.

Keep on working on the cause. Some people here are moaning because you're taking something away from them.

Tying Visa and MC to the nastier stuff will make them act sooner. IMO

so, is ORON gone for good now?

also do you get credit for the takedown of DEMONOID?

Oron was sued by Corbin Fisher and is down at the moment.

Demonoid was not a file locker, it was a torrent tracker which was taken down by law enforcement in the Ukraine in response to an Interpol request. IFPI take credit for the operation.
