I've been using a Galaxy Nexus for a few months now and it's the best phone I have ever used.
I did try out the Galaxy S2 but the weird screen colors and crappy Yamaha DAC chip made it impossible for me to use. I understand the Galaxy S3 will use a Wolfson DAC so it should be quite good for music playback. One downside to Android phones is that each model is a grab bag of components, and some times the manufacturers will cheap out so you have to be very aware of what goes into the phone you want. I understand the new IPhone will have a much needed larger screen, but unless they do something to make IOS a little more open (I mean it's nearly impossible to even copy pictures to the damn things) I don't think I could live with it. |
