Eh, quad core in phones right now is pretty useless... and my screen is big enough so I'll be sticking with my galaxy s2 for a while longer...

Usually I drive, eat, walk and so on... there is no such silly thing as watching on the go for me. Emails and pics just come in to iphone just fine, and yet i dont have to look like a silly teenager with that shovel like tool.

I cant imagine a task for myself iphone cant accomplish. May be you are a power user I dunno. The only advantage would be the screen size... but... again, i dont do any long way commuting where i sit on the train and so on...

I had bought the first Galaxy. I will never ever buy any Galaxy phones anymore. I have had so many problems with it, just unimaginable.

I bought an Iphone and I am happy with it. :)

I dunno, Android usage made me sick, gimme a 4.5" iPhone and there would
be no Galaxy thread at all, means it was impressive as a toy, but i couldn't find
any real usage for it.

adding media to an iphone is a joke, not sure why anyone would buy a apple product just for that reason alone.

Got mine a couple weeks ago and love it :thumbsup Had the HTC One X before it and that was a great phone too.

@ Sid - you drew the comparison to a TV not me.

I meant no matter how big a hand held screen is i would still prefer watching a TV or even go to the movies. That's why i do not see any added value in SGIII comparing to IP4GS.

- can't use openvpn on iphone

- gets harder and harder to jailbreak and you can only install software that apple says you can install

- can't change keyboard software... this is a big one for me. I don't care what you say about the apple software, swype is far superior

- as far as I know, you can't even change the theme on the damn things

- forget custom roms

The iphone/ipad/ipod are like prison, apple are the guards and you are the prisoner.

But again, I know that certain types of people need to be told what to do, told what they can and can't do, etc. The sheer amount of iphone/ipod/ipad owners there are out there shows just how easily controlled the masses are imho.

I had one but gave it away. It's waaaaay too big + the shape of the phone it made my hands hurt when holding it for a long time. I really don't like big phones. The S2 is big enough already, really don't need bigger than that.

On my old iPhone 3g and 3gs I had apache and a ftp server running on it. I can't think of anything you can't do on an iPhone that you can't do on other phones (including playing flash files)
I switched to android because of the option to have a real keyboard. Design and functionality wise I think apple made a better complete product than other phones on the market

My gf got one this week and it rocks.
It's too big for my taste. Like to carry a phone in my pocket so I'll stick to my iphone for the time being

had mine a few weeks, I love it, but i'm annoyed at the play store, it's geo location stops me from downloading 1000s of apps if i'm not in my home country, never had this problem on iphone as it geo located you to your address and not the phone location - gonna have to root the phone to get around it.

It is not geo location, it is where you are when you register for the playstore.

When registering for the play store it's the best to use a US VPN, that way you will always have access to the US Play store, no matter where you are in the world

Incorrect, it's based off your sim carrier code. Hence why apps such as market enabler change your carrier code in order to get around restrictions...

I was curious for sure. But not more then that.

I switched away from Iphone and I got the Samsung Galaxy Note two weeks ago.... There are so many ways to configure it that I'm still getting settled in, but so far I LOVE IT.

The one thing any good (not even mention best) phone needs is the ability to communicate with other phones via cellular network. Both iphone 4 and 4s have a serious carrier problem. Only this fact is enough to consider iphone as anything but not a mobile phone :2 cents:

Wiki knowledge is power for keyboard warriors only. Gotta know your own needs to understand which phone suits you better. I am talking my personal experience with Android on HTC, Samsung and iOS on iPhone 3GS and 4S.

I have no idea about your Android experience (you haven't mention anything about it here) but I have a problem speaking to my friends who bought iphone 4s. Everyone with iphone 4(s) I'm talking to has a similar problem - during the call the voice gets suddenly horrible distorted and then it comes back to a normal or... the phone just gets "out of range". I really have no idea why people still buy this useless gayish crap from apple. :2 cents:

got it two weeks ago. Love it. Runs circles around the iphone. Only bad thing is, i could only get the white one.

I tried US and UK VPNs, no joy, as vdbucks said.. I was quite annoyed, cant get the apps i want, back to the UK in a few weeks so will load up then!

Did you say "Russia"? One friend of mine bought his iphone 4s in the EU (don't remember the exact country, sorry), another one brought it from the UAE (the country he spends 90% of his time). Do you really think that Apple sends crap to the EU and UAE so only Ukrainians are able to buy the "real thing"?
