My favorite musician turns 54 years old, today. In celebration, I've made a spotify playlist and have been jammin' to this dude, all day.

Happy Birthday to Prince! Saw him in concert 3 times. The first time was the best, Vanity 6 and The Time opened for him on the 1999 tour in Cleveland, Ohio, it was 1983. Fucking awesome.

I have to agree. Prince HATES the internet. This dude didnt want itunes to carry his music because he wanted them to "cut him a check first". He also said in an interview with The Mirror, "The internet's completely over. I don't see why I should give my new music to iTunes or anyone else. Wasnt it Stern who seen him in a private concert and he did the whole concert in the dark so noone could see him.

I mean cmon. He had some good music and in 1984 it was cool to be full of yourself but in 2012.. kind of lame.

Anyhow, pet peeve of mine when musicians block youtube. Like most of them didnt make enough and most of us did buy their albums, cassettes back in the day.

Basicly a slap in the face to the old school fans.

I love how yt leaves the vids and puts ads on them but mutes the song hehe

They are serious about Prince tho. Can find no Prince songs with audio.

I have always liked Princes old stuff.. It always left a positive lasting impression on me also since he helped me to see my 1st pussy when Purple Rain came out..
