Hollywood is so full of themselves and beyond egotistical. Every week we have to hear how much money each movie made, who is the best this the best that.
Its even worse if you live out there and have worked with some of these folks. They have some heavy duty I am God complexes. Its all lame.

The Oscars are a sham... hopefully one day they'll start rewarding talent.
When Opie Cunningham wins a Best Director Oscar yet David Cronenberg has never won a thing, something is wrong with the system. And screw Chicago. I'm getting tired of movies "sweeping the Oscars" just because they have music in them. I hate musicals. Fuck musicals. Ok, I'm done ranting. (LOTR better win) |

lotr was a great movie, but doesn;t deserve best picture, esp. not nearly as much as the first one did.
