Hollywood is so full of themselves and beyond egotistical. Every week we have to hear how much money each movie made, who is the best this the best that.

Its even worse if you live out there and have worked with some of these folks. They have some heavy duty I am God complexes.

Its all lame.

i'm sure they will pick up some more in the technicals.

Here is an alternative to Hollywood mainstream.
A Finnish movie that is definitely not for American masses but got an oscar nominee for the best foreign film or something like that

The Oscars are a sham... hopefully one day they'll start rewarding talent.

When Opie Cunningham wins a Best Director Oscar yet David Cronenberg has never won a thing, something is wrong with the system.

And screw Chicago. I'm getting tired of movies "sweeping the Oscars" just because they have music in them. I hate musicals. Fuck musicals.

lotr was a great movie, but doesn;t deserve best picture, esp. not nearly as much as the first one did.
