I have been VERY hands on in the managing of my previous sites.. almost to a fault lol Yet another reason I finally decided to stop the cycle where I am putting myself out there on so many personal and physical levels only to have profits going into pockets undeserving.. Of course this is more just a case of working with the "wrong" people and is not judgement on every webmaster out there.. Just a little guard that I have now put up when it comes time to do another site I am ALL for doing whats honest and fair. If you are working hard and helping the site grow then compensation needs and will be given accordingly. I am not ruling out the option of having a "webmaster" just simply saying that I will not allow for another individual to be the "owner" of what is inevitably Mine :) I can not find any justification as to why a 2nd or 3rd party should ever own a brand that is 110% based off of my offerings..

As mentioned, my forte without a doubt is Modeling and my ability to interact with a following.. So of course a partner/webmaster/tech team etc etc will be very much needed.. However next time around I will be very selective and very hands on with the process in all aspects. Safe to say I will be handing out contracts to be signed :P

ps.. thanks to those who have given some words of encouragement and offering your generosity! I hope I have not offended any reputable webmasters out there or made it seem as if their talents are unneeded ... Just think its time models start having more control and ownership these days with all that we are putting out there and even at times sacrificing.. I hate seeing so many "dead sites" out there where the model has zero % compensation. Yes these are repercussions to ill decisions made around contract signing time (something i have even fallen victim of once upon a time(s) ).. but I think it needs to change. For models willing to take on more roles other than showing up to photoshoots, options should be given to where there is ownership of a brand that is US !
This option isn't for everyone of course.. but I am ready to do just that.. and I shall ;)

Unfortunately, these models aren't going to listen. They think Abbie is going to make them a star. And when she's bad mouthing anyone and everyone she's fucked over, (I'm a dirty slut, she fired me, etc) they believe it. A few girls have been smart enough to ask around, but most of the new girls are pretty far up Abbie's ass.

If you have sites that convert their type of content, what else should you do? Make no money? I've been screwed over by so many programs, and there are so many dead sites floating around, it doesn't leave much to push. It sucks and I lost money over this, but I also made money while they were running and operational. I will only consider it if it's on CCBill at this point, so I don't have to go chasing checks. I completely understand why so many affiliates just say fuck this and sell their sites or just quit.

We were told that it would be way more expensive, and they were saving us money. Instead we were provided with pay breakdowns, typed up by Sean I believe. With a lot of unexplained miscellaneous fees. I feel like a complete moron for trusting them. :(

solo sites are not what they once were - more money to be made on MFC.

I won't speak for Gisele, but that's not the case for me. My paychecks were absolute shit with IHB.

Webmasters always promise to make me so much money. lol I've accepted that maybe I'm just not cut out for a solo site. Who knows what the future holds. Kicking ass on MFC though. :)
