that shit has be used for decades, only reason anyone even knows about it now is because of the sensational media lately... there always has to be some drama, some made up problem to solve...
people make it sound like it's some deadly stuff because it's animal guts washed in ammonia... ammonia sounds bad, but it's really just a naturally occurring compound floating around in our blood... it's perfectly good meat, that they just happen to sterilize with an evil sounding "ammonia"...

In some countries they just come right out and offer cow stomach and tripe on the menus. All of the intestines and organ meat.
We love to play games with it and pretend it's not there. Grind up a chicken thigh and leg in a vitamix blender (bone in, skin on) and you'll get.. a nugget, lol. Yums.
