Webair mail server - Are you also having issues ?

Since one week, I have a lot of issues getting my email from webair. Am I the only one ?

Does it rely on my ISP or is webair really having mail server issues ?

I asked the livechat how I should do to connect to POP3 last week since I couldn't get it working.

Matt: incoming abc.se port 110
Matt: outgoing abc.se port 225

Since I couldn't get it working I asked if he could test to login for me, he replied with "I dont have outlook.".

It turns out I should connect to "mail.abc.se" and not just "abc.se" I even sent screenshots of how I did set it up and Matt acted like a cunt.
"I dont have outlook" - Which is probably true but why not connect with another fucking email-client?
I'm now looking for a new host.

To answer your question, I dont think there's been any problem with my webair-mail. I just tested it and it seem to work fine.

Mange tak ;-)

I have been using the following settings for 16 years : POP3 mymail.webair.com
I have had problems last week too, turns out, I was also advised to use: mail.domain.com
It worked until yesterday.

Since yesterday, even with mail.domain.com I can't get my emails. Reply from them: No problem on our end, check with your ISP.

The fact the you are having problems as well, I wonder if it is a coincidence or if there is really a problem with their mail server.

Why would anyone want a POP account?

Another webair success story.

i have just a small vps with them and I had a TON of troubles with the mail server.
When it worked half the mail i sent out went to ppls spam box or they said they never got it.

I randomly just wouldnt get mail

I ended up having to buy an upgraded mail package from them and it fixed it

Same here, moved to another host.

Everytime I contacted them regarding this I got the "no problem on our side" explanation.

Anyone else noticed that they dropped SSL support for pop connections today? According to the support they no longer support any kind of secure way to connect to the email server. I'm sorry webair but this is a joke.

What's going on?

This is NOT what you were told. Additionally, the ticket was recently replied to, have a look please. To be clear, we have not dropped support for any type of service, and your ticket should be replied to.

An update on this thread:

Webair ( Thanks to Gerard and Sagi ) finally resolved my issue. Seems like the problem was on their end, after all.

The problem is with new technicians, they always take for granted that you are an idiot and that you are responsible for your issue. A senior tech will really look into your problem. A newbie tends to give you the : "Nothing's wrong on our end" reply.

Before posting this thread, I should have directly asked to chat with a senior tech. That is what I usually do when I realize that the tech I am chatting with has no idea of what he is doing.

That was the info I was given through the live chat, which I couldn't believe so I created a ticket.

But having a service out of order for a full day is not acceptable, you need some kind of monitoring.

Anyhow it works now and we're all happy again. Thank you techs!

We strongly recommend that you NOT use Webair! We had nothing but horrible experiences with them.
