Unfortunately, it's the other way around.

You buy a small water heater from someone else but cross checked you end up buying three 12clicks leaky roofs you never wanted.

It takes all kinds. And yes, I assume at least part of his act is pure trolling for personal amusement. I imagine any real anger comes from watching this industry explode in growth them implode in a few short years thanks to a the short-sightedness of most involved. It's easy to turn bitter when easy cashflow is replaced by miles and miles of bullshit.

Not sure what you mean by the trolls but anyhow, I wasn't starting this thread to talk shit about your business if that's what you thought. My partner owns a roofing company (local market) here in the south and I provide services to storm chasers all over the nation. I don't deal with commercial too much so less likely that I'd know who you are but I do know a few. We have been working the New York market for months now.

Did you get a lot of hail this year? I know most of the area did but someone mentioned NJ which I'm not familiar with.

I actually find it funny that so many are bitching about you being a roofer as if it's something bad. I guess they don't know that roofing, especially on the commercial end, pays more than being an adult webmaster ever could. Extra true this year with all of the storm damage we've had.
